Ethics
Effective July 1, 2005, each state agency involved in large state construction or procurement contracts is required to designate an Ethics Compliance Officer. This designee is responsible for developing ethics policies, coordinating ethics training, and monitoring compliance with ethics laws and policies. Rachel Rubin has been designated the Ethics Compliance Officer for the University of Connecticut Storrs and regional campuses, and the University of Connecticut Health Center. In addition, Ms. Rubin serves as the University’s liaison to the Office of State Ethics.
All ethics inquiries or questions regarding compliance with the State Code of Ethics for Public Officials, and/or the University’s various ethics policies may be directed to Ms. Rubin at (860) 486-1168 or by emailing ethics@uconn.edu.
